As I write this, on the morning of 30th March, it would be very easy to reflect on the chaos that is the Brexit process as the UK parliament lurches in no particular direction at all. Fortunately, there is no such problem with the forthcoming Annual Bloggers Bash. We all know what we’re doing, we know what we’re trying to achieve, and with over two months to go until the event itself takes place, everything is falling nicely into place (who’s tempting fate?).
We have guest speakers, an expert panel (start getting your questions ready), a workshop to learn how to flatlay (no, me neither – so I clearly need to learn about it), and a photographer on hand if you want any promotional photos taking. All that, plus the usual opportunities to catch up with old friends, meet in person the friends you’ve already made online, and make some totally brand new ones…
Oh yes, and there are some awards to give out as well, plus an announcement of the results of the blogging competition. And all of this is happening on one day!
Demand for tickets has already outstripped previous years, which is great, and we keep hearing about others who want to come along. If you are one of those people, or know of any, it’s worth bearing in mind a couple of things:
1. Early Bird tickets are only available until midnight (UK time) tomorrow – 31st March. The Early Bird price is £20. After that, the price rises to £30.
2. The venue we’ve chosen this year is one we’ve used before and were impressed enough to come back to again for a whole range of reasons. But there is a limited capacity there, and with sales having gone as well as they have, there’s a possibility we’ll reach that limit before too long.
So, if you’ve been before and already know how great it is, you know what to do. If you’ve not been before and you’re curious, don’t run the risk of having to wait another year to find out what you’re missing. Grab your tickets now before they go up in price by 50%.
And when you see just how brilliant it all is and you can appreciate how well planned and organised it all is… Forget it! We really don’t want to help Mrs May out…
